Ceramics is making a comeback in my life. It's quite invigorating, familiar and oh so sweet. More pictures to come.
Baby Boy Blue #2056-50
I was able to collaborate with a awesome friend, and he helped me create this wonderful print. The more I look at it, the more I enjoy this print. I forgot how exhausting printing is, and it's a bit trial & error until you create that lucky (close to) perfect print.

Joy
I've survived half of the school year :: insert triple high kick!!:: These past couple months have been interesting to say the least. From one job to two jobs to three jobs (crazy, I know) but I am thankful. I've learned a whole lot and continue to do so, I don't ever want to stop learning.
Here's to choosing joy even when it's so much easier to complain. Here's to choosing joy and thankfulness when exhaustion washes over you.
Here's to joy (Jesus), for changing me
Busy
Busy is an understatement. I've been busy learning, which is a great thing. Learning how to become a better teacher, better read people and just be a better human being as a whole.
Alas all this learning has led to some creative projects whether by myself or my students.

Studio Time
Since moving back to Miami I've realized finding a ceramics studio is pretty tough.(Compared to the plethora of ceramic studios in North Carolina) BUT through the magic of google I found one! Very cute and cozy, a great couple decided to open one up and offer classes. Checked out their open studio and voila! I may have found my home away from home again.
A reminder for you and me.
The Promise of the Sun
As a teacher I find it hard to create work of my own. I am now in constant collaboration with my students. I thoroughly enjoy it, but there is a part of me which yearns to create my own work.
I am promising myself to seek out studios, collaborations, things which will force me to create my own work.
*as for the photo, who doesn't love cool editing apps.
Till next time.
Here's to change....
I have finally transitioned out of college and have an grown up job. I decided through the suggestion of a friend to set up a real website. This should encourage me to continue my craft whatever it may be, this season or the next. But really to encourage me to post, rant and pursue art.
